Lucien Nael
CEO & Founder
In this role, Lucien leads the strategic direction of the firm, focusing on identifying new investment opportunities, shaping the vision for each portfolio property, and cultivating strong equity partnerships.
Prior to founding LNREIG, Lucien has had 19 years career in the Real Estate industry serving as a consultant for Knight Frank.
He is also a board member and core contributor for Rumah hope, a non-profit that provides a safe, nurturing environment focusing on education and skill training for abused, neglected, and underprivileged children.
Mohd Iskandar Muas
Chief Operating Officer
Since joining the team in 2021, Iskandar has played a key role in expanding LNREIG Agriculture portfolio through both upstream production and land acquisitions. He is actively involved in all phases of the investment lifecycle, including management, and relations with the local operating partners'.
Prior to joining LNREIG, Iskandar had been working for 37 years as a Land manager for IOI plantation, as a true Malaysian, agriculture has always been a passion of his.
Iskandar earned his BSc in Land management from Univerisiti Putra Malaysia. Outside of work, Iskandar enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and family.
Ms. Deborah Wong Siew Chen
Managing Partner
She is responsible for global capital raising, investors' relations, and managing financial performance.
Ms. Deborah has over 11 years in the real estate private equity industry focused on capital raising.
Prior to joining LNREIG, Ms. Deborah worked at the Department of Human Resources in Sunway properties.
Ms. Deborah holds a BSc in Political Science from Universiti Malaya. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, hiking, traveling, fashion and playing badminton with her friends and family.
Andrew Wong Wei Bo
Senior Investment Associate
He plays an integral role in asset management, acquisitions, and portfolio operations. His responsibilities include underwriting new investment opportunities, supporting transaction execution, assisting with due diligence processes, and working closely with property management and operating partners to drive performance across the portfolio. Andrew is also involved in investors' relation.
Prior to joining LNREIG, Andrew served as Senior Financial Analyst with Sunway construction, where he led financial underwriting and analysis for residential assets, conducted market research, and managed back-office operations.
Andrew earned his BSc in Accounting and Finance from the Universiti Sains Malaysia. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, hunting/fishing, and spending time with his wife, Emily.
Michael Tan
Investment Associate
He plays a key role in executing the firm's strategy across the acquisition, development, and management of commercial assets. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, underwriting and crafting business plans, and supporting both asset management and operational initiatives.
Before joining LNREIG, Michael worked as a management consultant with Ecoworld as well as a boutique consulting firm, where he led strategic initiatives for clients in the financial services sector.
Michael holds a BSc in Management Information Systems from The Multimedia University. Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing tennis, badminton, and spending family time with his mother, Ms Wong.
Mateo Fernandez
Chief Technology Officer
Mateo Fernandez is Chief Technology Officer at LNREIG and its affiliated entities, where he plays a role as the company's senior most technology executive, responsible for defining and executing the company's overall technology strategy in alignment with its investment and business objectives.
Prior to joining LNREIG, he served for 15 years as Vice President of Engineering at Despegar, where he led large-scale engineering operations, drove digital transformation initiatives and scaled engineering infrastructure across international markets.
Mateo holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his family and is an avid hiker and camping enthusiast.
